Description
The 0.5-litre bottle is the best way to get to know our oil: enough for several weeks of salads and cooking, practical for small households and elegant as a gift for friends or business partners. Every drop comes from olives hand-picked in the hills of Ardenica and pressed at our mill in Rreth Libofshë.
Taste and aroma
A fresh aroma of cut grass and green olives, a balanced taste with a light bitterness and a peppery finish – a sign of the polyphenols preserved by cold pressing below 27°C, within 24 hours of the harvest.
How to use it
- Raw over salads, boiled vegetables, beans and fish.
- For cooking over low to medium heat and for oven roasting.
- With toasted bread, tomatoes and a pinch of salt – the traditional Albanian breakfast.
Storage
The dark glass bottle protects the oil from light. Keep it in a cool cupboard (15–20°C), away from the hob, and close it tightly after each use. Once opened, use it within 2–3 months for the best aroma.
